Developed with leading veterinarian behaviourists, Felaqua Connect is a smart water delivery and drinking monitoring system with app, which provides your cats with water whilst monitoring and reporting when and how much they drink. This way, Felaqua Connect offers invaluable insights into your cat's drinking behaviour, which is a key indicator of their health and wellbeing. Use Felaqua Connect with the Sure Petcare Hub (not included) and the Sure petcare app, to monitor how much, when and how long your cats drink, and spot any short or long-term changes. Check remotely how much water is remaining, when the water was last replenished and be notified when the water needs changing

Felaqua Connect has been designed with your cat in mind: Its wide and shallow bowl offers plenty of space for your cat's whiskers, allowing them to drink comfortably. Thanks to the water-repellent material, the water inside the bowl pearls around the edges, making it reflect the light better, making the water easily visible and inviting to your cat. As your cat is drinking, water is replenished from the gravity-fed reservoir, eliminating the need for noisy pumps and creating a quiet and clean drinking experience. Being Battery powered (4 x C cell, not included), Felaqua Connect can be placed freely throughout your home and where your cat likes to drink. With no cables, no filters and removable, dishwasher-safe parts, Felaqua Connect is Easy to use and Hassle-free.

How to use:

  • Equipped with microchip scanning technology, Felaqua Connect uniquely identifies your pets by their microchip (commonly used 15 digit microchip formats) or the Sure Petcare RFID Collar Tag, allowing to you to track their drinking behaviour
  • Up to 32 pets can be registeredBattery powered (4xC, not included) with up to 6 months battery life and a "battery low" indicator LED
  • Reads most common microchips (excludes AVID and Trovan microchips) and the Sure Petcare RFID Collar Tag
  • 2 years warranty
  • Easy-to-use Felaqua, is supplied with a quick start guide, which will guide you through the set up and configuration process
  • Requires the Sure Petcare Hub (7136724), which is available to purchase separately from the Pets At Home online store
  • A smartphone and Internet access, will be required to make use of the connected features.

    • Product Care:

    It is important to keep your Felaqua Connect clean to ensure it functions reliably. Please DO NOT submerge the main unit into water or place it under a running tap. Water ingress may cause damage to the electronic components within the unit. Please use mild pet safe detergents, but do not use abrasive cleaners on the Felaqua Connect and bowl. For descaling the reservoir and reservoir lid, please use common household citric acid based descaling fluids. To remove the lid seal, run a finger under the seal and lift it off. Wash the seal gently by hand under warm water. You will notice that one side of the seal is flat and the other isn't. To replace, ensure the flat side is sitting flat on the lip of the lid and that the inside edge is slotted into the groove all the way around.

    • Good, if your cat will drink standing water from a dish

      I received this as free item to try out and review. The set up is extremely easy. The steps are noted in the manual and very easy to follow. Connecting the Felaqua to my hub and the app was also very easy. The steps provided are simple and easy to follow. Connecting my one of my cat's microchips was easy. It tool some manipulation of position to save my other cat's microchip. This was the same issue I had with the feeders as well. I believe it is due to my cat's large size and the placement of his chip. Use of the waterer was a challenge. But, this is again due to my cats, and I do not believe it was from an issue with the waterer itself. The large cat's microchip wasn't being read when the waterer is flat on the floor. I had to elevate it on a base for it to read his properly. This again was an issue I had with the feeder as well. Once elevated a few inches, it was at a level to read the large cat's chip. Flat on the floor or elevated the waterer could read the small cat's chip just fine. The problem with this one is he prefers water fountains and is not much interested in standing water. You know, cats are going to be cats. The data listed on the app is easy to understand and would be a great tool for tracking a cat's water intake, especially if they have renal disease, diabetes, UTI's, etc. That is if your cat is fine with drinking from a dish. I would recommend this product to anyone who's cat is willing to drink from a dish.
