Tetra Pond Test 7in1 quickly and reliably measures the seven most important water values in a single step. Simply and easily measure the level of pH, carbonate hardness (KH), general hardness (GH), nitrite (NO2-), nitrate (NO3-), chlorine (Cl2) and carbon dioxide (CO2).

Using one test strip in the water and the colour chart, you can test and evaluate whether water values in your pond are safe to support a healthy ecosystem and thriving pond life. The general hardness (GH) affects the vital functions of pond fish, whilst carbon dioxide (CO2) is required for your pond plants to thrive. Nitrate (NO3-) is a nutrient that helps plants to grow. However, excessively high levels can be harmful to fish and promote excessive algae growth. Carbonate hardness (KH) has a direct influence on the stability of the pH value, which fish can react very sensitively to. Tetra Pond WaterStabiliser can correct any imbalances in the KH and pH levels. Nitrite is extremely harmful for the biological balance in your pond, even in very low concentrations, and should not be detectable in the water. Just like nitrite, chlorine should not be detectable in the pond water and can be treated with Tetra Pond AquaSafe.
