How to use:

Set the temperature using the dial on the top of the heater. For tropical species it should be set between 23C and 26C. Using the suckers provided, install the heater into the aquarium in an area of high flow, and ensuring it is positioned below the minimum water line of the aquarium. Position the heater at a 45 degree angle to get the best heating affect. Once the aquarium is filled with water, turn the heater on at the power supply - the red indicator light will turn on to show the heater is on, and will then turn off once the water has reached your set temperature.

Product Care

Maintenance. Switch off and unplug the heater, then allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the aquarium. Clean the heater using fresh, clean water. Reinstall the heater into the aquarium at the 45 degree angle - ensuring the heater is positioned below the minimum water line. Then turn the power for the heater back on.

  • Not impressed

I had been using one of these for a few years but had to replace it after the wire wore away from the plug. I bought another one as I was happy with the product. The new one would not heat above what it was originally set at when bought so I took it back and exchanged it. Same problem with this one also, as this is just for a spare temporary small aquarium I have just kept it as it serves the purpose

  • Unstable temperatures

Cold for a while then really warm for a while, not a stable temperature. Persevered for a while but the temperatures still fluctuated wildly, full of condensation after a couple of days. Changed it for another after a month - exactly the same issues.

    • Working well

Bought to put in a hospital tank as the temperature was fluctuating with room temp change. Maintaining temperature well. I've had a few of these heaters, only downside is they always heat higher than 20 which is the minimum. Set at 20, mine is reading 21 on my digital thermometer.
