I am quite disappointed to see a senior food made primarily of chicken (product). My senior has allergic reactions to all poultry
My chow chow loves it! She can be picky and skeptical with any new food or treats, and will take quite some time to try anything new. The senior food was a hit on day one without any stomach issues.
I am new to senior chicken/hake and my shepherd/mastiff licks his bowl clean daily. It seems to agree with him BUT i noticed his bowel habits changed and although very healthy poop he takes so much longer to do it he was a regular morning release but has now become a late night releaser...so more work to walk.anyone else have sam e issue? thanks ACANA
I foster elderly dogs and most times it's qui6easy to feed them. But my newest Amore wouldn't eat anything that I gave him. I saw Acana for seniors and figured I'd give it a shot. I am not exaggerating when I say he ran for his bowl. If you care about what your babies eat, Acana is definitely the best for them.
My dog started with this brand 6 years ago and he absolutely loves every flavour.
I always bought the Acana Light and Fit or Large Breed for my 120 lbs dog. I thought I would make him try the Senior Recipe as he turned 9 this year. From one day to another, he just lost his appetite. At first, he just nibbled at his food and left a large portion in his bowl. Then, he refused to eat. He did not like it at all. After a few days, I bought a bag of the Red Meat. We're back in business and we're eating again. I also offered some to my 13 years old Chihuahua. She just refused to eat. She's back on the Small Breed.
