Advantage Chewable protects your dog from fleas and ticks for a full month. This easy-to-give, beef-flavoured chewable tablet offers fast-acting, reliable protection, eliminating fleas in just 4 hours and ticks* in 8 hours. Unlike other flea and tick products, Advantage Chewable is effective against all 4 UK tick species, including the Ixodes hexagonus (Hedgehog tick), which can transmit Lyme disease and Babesiosis.*Ixodes ricinus are killed within 8 hours, other tick species (Ixodes hexangonus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus & Dermacentor reticulatus) are within 48 hours.

Suitable for:

Puppies aged 8 weeks and over. For dogs of more than 45kg in bodyweight use an appropriate combination of strengths.

Not suitable for:

Puppies under 8 week olds. Not licensed for use in pregnant or lactating females.

How to use:

To ensure a correct dosage, dogs should be weighed accurately prior to treatment. Give one Advantage Chewable tablet monthly to your dog with food or within 30 minutes of feeding. Ensure to administer the correct tablet strength based on your dog's weight. Wash hands after handling the product.

How to weigh your pet

Follow these three simple steps:
1. Weigh yourself on an ordinary pair of bathroom scales.
2. Pick up your dog* then weigh yourself and your dog together.
3. Subtract your weight from the combined weight of you and your dog.

*Larger or challenging dogs can be difficult to weigh using this method. At Pets at Home, we offer a free weighing service in all our PetCare Centres, so feel free to bring them in and we can weigh them for you. Use 'Find a Store' to find your nearest Petcare Centre.
