    Features

    • Acrylic aquarium - Acrylic is 10 times stronger and 23% clearer than glass, acrylic is also a good insulator, so you don't lose as much heat as you would with a glass aquarium
    • Long-lasting LED lighting - The LED lighting with easy on and off switch will give your biOrb a classic ambiance
    • 5-step filtration - Ensures clear, healthy water with biological, mechanical, and chemical filtration, water stabilisation and oxygenation
    • Filter cartridge - Fitted at the bottom of the aquarium, because that is where most of the fish waste goes, it's easy to replace when it's time for routine maintenance
    • Ceramic media - Surrounds the filter cartridge, over time their honeycomb structure is populated with good bacteria that neutralises ammonia and nitrates
    • Low voltage - All BiOrb aquariums operate from a 12V transformer for safety and ease of use
    • Quiet Air Pump - Pump is designed for quiet operation and stability
    • Easy feeding access - Feed hole conveniently located at the top of the aquarium

    Suitable for:

    Temperate and tropical fish (An aquarium heater must be used for tropical fish).

    Not suitable for:

    Coldwater fish or goldfish.

    What are fish points?
    Fish points are an easy to use guide to help you determine which and how many fish are suitable for your tank. All fish are scored based on a number of factors such as size, how much waste they produce and whether they prefer to shoal in small or large groups. Did you know? Your aquarium needs to be big enough for the size your fish could grow to.

    How to use:

    Simply plug the lights and air pump into the power pack. Connect the air pump to the airline, fill with water and add the starter sachets as supplied. Decorate to your own taste with the wide range of biOrb decor available. Add fish as directed by your store according to the water parameters in your biOrb. Use biOrb Cleaning pads or Multi Cleaning Tool.

    Product Care:

    1. Fill the aquarium to ensure there are no leaks (best done outside if possible).
    2. Ensure the floor and surface beneath the aquarium are perfectly level and flat.
    3. Position the aquarium away from sources of noise such as speakers or TVs.
    4. Choose a location away from draughts or sources of warmth or heat.
    5. Avoid placing the tank near strong natural light sources which can encourage algae growth.
    6. Add your fish safe gravel and any decor before filling the tank and adding fish.
    7. Whenever you add tap water to the aquarium, use tap safe to remove harmful chemicals.
    8. Once the tank is filled, turn on equipment overnight to bring the water to the right temperature. Whenever you add fish, use a filter boost product to help establish the good bacteria your filter needs to process fish waste.
    9. Add fish a few at a time and build up gradually over several months to prevent causing water quality issues.
    10. We would advise carrying out water testing before adding new fish to your existing aquarium (which we offer as a free service).
    11. DO NOT try to lift or move an aquarium containing water or gravel as this can cause pressure which could cause it to crack.

    Warnings and Safety:

    Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight. Never carry or pull the unit by the electrical cable. Route cables such that they are protected from damage and do not present a tripping hazard. Only connect the unit if the electrical data of the unit and the power supply correspond. Only connect the unit to a correctly fitted socket. Protect the plug connection from moisture. When using heaters, ensure that they are approved for use in the aquarium and that they do not come into contact with the acrylic wall of the aquarium. Disconnect the power plug before carrying out any work on the unit. Only open the unit housing or its attendant components if this is explicitly specified in the operating instructions. Never carry out technical changes to the unit. Exclusively use BiOrb cleaning product to clean the aquarium. Other cleaning agents may cause scratches or tears in the acrylic material. Only use original spare parts and accessories for the unit.

      After losing most of my fish,been left with a single fishy we decided to get him a smaller nicer home and invest in this biorb tank, it's beautiful when setup. Comes with a small bag of gravel, I would recommend using this

      Positives: almost everything in one box. Definitely not natural environment. Filter media too big and rough.positives:there are gravel filter mods out there. Tube needs guard pump needs tap.

          This little tank is great comes with everything you need and looks so good my fish seem to like it and 1 shrimp .. easy to set up snd can't hear the pump . I don't see why people would buy this then complain you can see what your getting it's well worth 5 stars and 75 pound
