Dronspot Spot-On Cat Worming Treatment

Purchased as I'm unable to use any other forms of treatment, as my cat either won't eat food or swallow tablets. For me this was the answer, although I've used pipettes for other treatments, my cat always seems to find a way to lick the area. I was advised to place it higher at the back of the head but whether the solution was running down his skin, he still managed to lick and start salivating excessively. I tried to distract him from continuing to lick the area by playing with him. The following morning a very large area of fur had turned completely white and he's a mainly black cat, as well as the fur in that area falling out. I cleaned the area with water and cotton wool but it's still matted with the product. He doesn't seem to be in any distress but I might try an alternative next time.

Bought this through subscribe and save for my 2 cats . Have used previously and had no problems at all . Used this time and have noticed bald patches on each of my cats necks . I felt so guilty . I choose these spot on products as neither of my cats will have tablets or powders. I'm not sure what the alternative is now as I don't want the product harming my pets

Rescue cat had for many years now but has always been sick / bolts his food so given in small portions . Vets say nothing wrong. Still occurs few times a month. Although it does leave a leftover mark on fur despite applying to skin as advised.
