Product description

Veterinary-approved dietetic food in tins only to be used based on recommendation of a vet

Knowledge is Hill's first ingredient and Hill's understands what dogs and cats need to live a long and healthy life, which is why all Hill's foods provide precisely balanced, high quality nutrition based on pets' age and unique needs. Science has driven the creation of Hill's foods since 1939 and today our dog and cat foods are still created using the combined expertise of over 220 vets, scientists and pet nutritionists. Hill's believes that fed everyday the right nutrition makes little transformations which can add up to incredible results.

Dogs need the right balance of minerals to maintain good bladder health. Excess minerals can encourage the formation of crystals in the urine, which can lead to the creation of bladder stones. Please consult with your veterinarian if your dog is showing urinary signs such as frequent urination, blood in the urine, or others. Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians have developed Prescription Diet u/d clinical nutrition to be specially formulated to help support your dog's bladder health.

    • Perfect food for my Yorkie’s condition

      Yes, I recommend this product

My yorkie needs and simply loves this canned food - he devours it and keeps asking for more! Problem is that he now isn’t too keen for the dry version!

Why have you changed the look and the taste of the food? My dog does not like it any more but he has to eat it. Please change it back?

          Yes, I recommend this product

Our Lab mix 70lb dog was diagnosed with a bladder stone over 2 inches in diameter. Our Vet recommended Hills to Home Urinary Care diet. After two months on the diet a shrinkage of the stone was seen on xray. After 4 months on the diet the stone had completely disappeared. Saved a surgery!

            Yes, I recommend this product

Our vet recommended this food because our dog has just had a major operation to remove cystine stones. Despite being incredibly fussy with food, he seems to really like this and there has been a marked difference in the colour of his urine. Fingers crossed, this food will help keep him free from further stones.
