I bought this model about 6 weeks ago and I’m so glad I did! It’s every things it says it is. Quiet, easy to put together, app works great, and I love the notifications when it needs a little attention. My young cats love it because they’re curious and it’s fun for them to use. Only small issue is I use a chunkier wood pellet litter and I need to switch to the finer wood clumping litter as the chunkier litter doesn’t get passed through the sieve mechanism and wastes too much litter. Simple switch… and it’ll be “da bomb” in the cat litter box world! Thank you!

I bought this litter box 2 months ago. At first, it was working pretty well. Now it continuously stops mid cycle and I have to keep unplugging it and plugging it back in in order for the cycle to finish. I do not recommend purchasing this product.

6 months in and the littler tray won’t stay in place and no replacement available

I bought the Scoop free smart spin about 5months ago. My cats transitioned from a rake system automatic litter tray. They adopted the new litter system within a few days. Since having the new system the odour control is so much better. I am using way less kitty litter as well. With the app I can keep on eye on my cats x2 weight. I have noticed to get the best out of this system it is important to have the right size litter tray liner. If the liner is too big it can trick the sensor to have a full litter tray error, stopping the system from working. When this has happened the cats business is not removed and urine can seep into the tray below. That starts to smell after a while. As soon as I noticed and cleaned the litter liner all was pleasant again. I have also on purpose simulated a cat entering the litter box while it is in cleaning mode. I am very happy to say it stopped straight away and was on pause for 7mins. This is a safety feature that convinced me to buy this system. I had bought and returned another system that gets connected to a water supply and waste water- it washes the litter beads. It was not able to be connected to the space I have. My sister has the system that washes the litter beads. The cleaning cycle is long, she lives in a humid environment and when the litter beads are being dried it still slightly smells, and the smell hangs in the air. For the value for money and it’s size- The Scoop Free Smart Spin is the winner. The clean cycle is faster, not as noisy, no plumbing needed, the unit is smaller and more pleasing to the eye.

I have had 2 of these litter boxes they are only good for 6 months. Will not purchase another. No support

The cats love it but it’s shallow and they kick litter all over the floor. Also, poop sticks to the sides when it dumps so it gets messy really fast. I also can’t get it to connect to my phone. I had high hopes for this but I’ve been disappointed.
