Limnophila sessiliflora is a beautiful plant from Southeast Asia. It is fast-growing and undemanding, making it a good plant for beginners. Its incredibly fast growth makes it ideal when starting up an aquarium. The stem quickly grows to over 40 cm long and 3-4 cm wide. Under good growing conditions, it readily produces runners and spreads across the bottom. The cut top and side shoots can be planted in the substrate, where they will quickly form roots and continue to grow.
